One of the most challenging stage races in North America, April 29-May 3, 2015 in Silver City, New Mexico. You have the chance to race at the same time as the top professional men and women teams. The Pro men and women races are both part of the UCI America Tour calendar in 2015, the UCI men is also part of the 2015 USA Cycling National Racing Calendar. The Tour of the Gila is held under USAC permit.

The races

UCI Men; UCI Women; Men 1,2; Men 3 and Master Men A: The 5-day stage race consists of 3 Road Races, an Individual Time Trial and a Criterium. The overall General Classification winner will be the rider with the lowest overall time for all the stages.

  The format is as follows:

Stage 1: Silver City to Mogollon Road Race
Stage 2: The Inner Loop Road Race
Stage 3: Tyrone Individual Time Trials
Stage 4: Downtown Silver City Criterium
Stage 5: Gila Monster Road Race

Men 4, Master Men B and Women 3,4: The 4-day stage race consists of 2 Road Races, an Individual Time Trial and a Criterium. The overall General Classification winner will be the rider with the lowest time for all the stages.  

The format is as follows:

Stage 1: The Inner Loop Road Race
Stage 2: Tyrone Individual Trials
Stage 3: Downtown Silver City Criterium
Stage 4: Gila Monster Road Race

No refunds will be awarded after March 1, 2015.

Support

SRAM will provide neutral support for the UCI races and will be on hand at the Individual Time Trials and the Downtown Criterium.
The amateur road races rely on wheel check-in. The Tour of the Gila has an excellent system to protect your wheels during the race.
Neutral hydration is provided in the feed zones of the road races.
Shuttles are available for the Mogollon Road Race, and the Inner Loop Road races for the Women 3,4 and Men 4.
